Wordsmiths: Chapter 7

Synopsis: A disabled writer finds out his father cursed his brother to take care of him. When the brothers start fight, their father’s assistant finds herself in the middle of it, spending more time with them than her fiancee.
Author Note: Oh no, Padilla meeting people, this isn’t going to go well.
Chapter 7
Cupcake reached the house later. He hadn’t needed to deal with Connie Quinn that day, which was a plus, but he’d still had to work on ads never quite up to his own standards. He hadn’t bothered looking at smiths online, he didn’t like the idea any more than he liked the idea of stabbing a pen in his eye.

Hey! I often forget that Sovereign is really the baby of three lovely creative people. Though she hasn’t taken an active role in Sovereign since we used to rped it, Raele, Basil, Crazy Jim, and Loke couldn’t have come to life without Jenn.

Remember the first three posts to the Sovereign Rp? Omg how old were we?
Ursula: Elias wandered through the groups of party guests, offering hellos and how are yous. He hated hosting parties but the royal advisers were forcing him to on threat of study of local agriculture. He wished he was with Crossian instead, but no light mages had been invited.
Jenn: Raele was talking animatedly to an earth mage about local agriculture. A topic that she knew got earth mages thoroughly excited and benefited her as she walked away with his pouch of coins.It jingled as she slipped in into her handbag and she check the time on the large mounted clock on the wall. Quarter after ten. The boys wouldn’t have ship ready until eleven. She had lots of time. She looked down to see a small boy staring at her. The way he looked at her she knew he’d seen her pick the mage’s pocket. She smiled sweetly and put her index finger to her lips. She bent down to reveal the dagger tucked in her strappy high heel. She looked up and saw the boy’s eyes widen in fear. Then she patted him on the head and continued to mingle with the crowd.
Bones: Zoltar tried to talk but was far too busy picking wax from his back teeth. Any time he’d tried to talk his teeth had continually (Sp?) got stuck together. Whether it was the wax fruit or the candles some wax object had settled poorly in his system.
Oh my gosh. <: This old thing. Sovereign has changed soo much. I think we were 15 or 16. (:
Well now I need to find this music.
